Dear Mr. Hubbard,

Thursdays at 10:00 P.M., Central Time, I am doing a program called “Writers and Readers” in which is a department called “The Story Behind The Story.” Would you send me the “inside” of one of your stories? Notes on the birth of the idea, speed or slowness of sale, technical notes. What any writer wonders about the other guy’s story. If you will send me publication date, I’ll match the broadcast date and make it a tie-up. We can be heard all over the country at night.

My aim is to publicize the pulps and their writers, and, if even in a small way, make the field greener for us who are feeding in it.

Whatever biographical notes you send with the above will be used.

    Cordially,

      Bob De Haven
